Hello, my name is Javo, and I'm an undergraduate student at St John's University majoring in Cybersecurity Systems! I have hands on experience with Software Engineering and Cybersecurity. I've also become really interested in AI/ML and all the possibilities with the use of it. Also, I have been working on Python for a while which has been really interesting and fun to learn. Additionally, I want to dive deeper into the AI and ML field to learn more about the future it can lead us to and gain practical skills that can be applied to the real world.
Aside from my dedication to cybersecurity, one of the core values that define me is my mindset in which I use to help others in need of any information that may help them within their career, as well as pushing myself past my limit to learn as many things as possible regardless of the difficulty.
A hobby of mine is that I play competitive soccer, and my favorite team is Chelsea. I've also been to many countries being part of the travel team in my club such as Austria, Germany, France, and many more. ⚽🌍
Reach out if you have any opportunities that I'll be interested in!
Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, instruction adherence, and response quality across assessment tasks. Apply analytical thinking and structured feedback to support AI model improvement and AI training workflows. Follow project guidelines and quality assurance standards within remote AI evaluation environments.
Protected autonomous robotic systems and ensured mission critical software operates securely and reliably. Implemented encryption, automated vulnerability testing, and integrated AI/ML algorithms into software pipelines. Improved cyber resilience by 2%, robotic system efficiency by 6%, and reduced testing and response times by 5–10%.
Developed and executed penetration testing scripts and vulnerability assessments using Kali Linux and custom tools, identifying critical weaknesses and delivering remediation strategies to reduce risks of exploitations. Developed Python/PowerShell automation pipelines for software deployment, patch management, and system updates across 100+ endpoints, reducing manual workload by 40% and strengthening overall security posture. Scripted secure VM environments to support remote development, testing, and software deployment workflow.
May 2026. Provisioned a secure multi-tier web application using AWS EC2 and RDS MariaDB. Hardened host security by configuring Windows SSH key permissions with icacls and restricting Linux file ownership with chown for the Apache service account. Integrated the database backend by configuring wp-config.php, managing database users, and enabling RDS protection.
Developed a Flask web app to track scammer voiceprints using a MySQL database and Python for secure audio uploads. Used secure .mp3/.wav file uploads and built user-facing features for adding, searching, and playing audio recordings. Simulated real-world scam scenarios, resulting in 150+ test recordings processed and competing among 25+ teams.
Conducted a wireless penetration test using a Crazyradio USB dongle and Kali Linux to uncover high-risk vulnerabilities in Logitech devices. Successfully simulated keystroke injection attacks, documented findings in a 12-page report, and provided detailed remediation strategies to enhance device security.
I'm always eager to take on new challenges and bring fresh ideas to life. If you're working on something exciting or just want to connect, don't hesitate to reach out — I'd love to hear from you!
